Artist Statement

Rosie Zielinski’s work endeavours to distort and disrupt photographic imagery into a level of ambiguous abstraction in order to evoke feelings of solace within transient space.

Zielinski endeavours to examine liminal surface within her imagery, with a continuous theme of inside and outside trickling through her practice, often realised through large-scale screenprints.

Rosie Zielinski is currently undertaking a practice-based PhD in Fine Art at the University of Northampton and works as a Visiting Lecturer in Art and Games Design at Barnfield College in Luton. She is also a member of the artist-run collective 'Somewhere in Between'.
